MANHATTAN, KAN. — Registration for KibbleCon 2024 is now open. The event is set for Oct. 23 to 24 at Kansas State University’s (K-State) campus in Manhattan. 

The event is created by K-State’s Pet Food Program and aims to serve as a place for pet food industry members to have “honest conversations on the future of the industry with pet food visionaries and industry influencers.”

The event will kick off Wednesday, Oct. 23 with a Welcome Reception, allowing attendees to network. Programming continues on Thursday, Oct. 24, with presentations spanning various industry topics, including economics, consumer behavior, sustainable ingredients with a special focus on sorghum, food safety and product preservation and more. 

Additionally, K-State students will present their latest industry research. The event will also include an industry panel discussion and two brainstorming sessions, allowing attendees to tap one another’s expertise.

  • Melissa Weber, Ph.D., director of technical services at Wilbur-Ellis Nutrition Co.
  • Michael Faurot, DVM, director of global clinical nutrition and claims at Hill’s Pet Nutrition
  • Will Henry, director of technology and R&D at Extru-Tech
  • Allison Millican, Ph.D., global technical services — companion animal nutritionist at Zinpro Co.
  • Greg Aldrich, Ph.D., chief operating officer at Nulo Pet Food
  • Nicholas Rozzi, Ph.D., vice president of product development at Hill’s Pet Nutrition
