MIDDLETON, WIS. — Fristam Pumps USA, a manufacturer of sanitary pumps, blenders and mixers, announced the appointment of Kevin Femal as president of the company following the retirement of Peter Herb in September. Herb has worked at Fristam for 36 years, serving as president since 2003.

“Peter has led the company to tremendous growth expanding the business into new markets and growing its distribution channels,” the company said. “Fristam thanks Pete for his years of dedicated service and wishes him well in his next chapter.”

Femal joins the company with 20 years of experience in the distribution and service industries serving the food, pharma and healthcare markets. Most recently, he served as chief executive officer of EMS Industrial Inc., during which the business doubled its sales.

Femal received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
