HONG KONG — Family nutrition company H&H Group announced June 10 that it is launching its pet supplement brand Zesty Paws into the United Kingdom and Europe. The launch will broaden H&H Group’s pet nutrition presence in the European market.
Founded in 2014, Zesty Paws specializes in premium functional supplements for dogs and cats focused on providing quality and innovation and supporting overall pet wellness. The brand was acquired by H&H Group in August 2021 and followed its earlier acquisition of holistic pet nutrition brand Solid Gold in 2020.
In March 2023, H&H Group launched eight Zesty Paws products on Amazon within the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany, significantly expanding the brand’s international footprint. According to H&H Group, within the first few weeks of this launch several products became top sellers. Since then, Zesty Paws has launched into 457 Pets at Home retail locations, as well as through Zooplus’ e-commerce platform. Zesty Paws aims to continue this omnichannel approach within these markets to advance its market share.
Zesty Paws’ products are developed by H&H Group’s in-house team of scientists and veterinarians, and target specific need states in dogs and cats, from skin and coat health to immune function, all in soft chew formats. All key ingredients in the supplements are reviewed by H&H Group’s specialists to ensure efficacy and quality.
In addition to its regular supplement range, Zesty Paws also offers a vet-formulated premium line for dogs, which is formulated with high-quality ingredients and key active compounds to support health and wellness. The range is available in the United Kingdom and Europe. The supplements are produced in Europe and target various need states, including allergies, mobility, urinary care, calming, digestion and joint health. Over the next couple of years, Zesty Paws plans to focus on leveraging innovation to enhance its current portfolio, as evidenced by its newest healthy aging dog supplement.
“The introduction of Zesty Paws in the UK and Europe marks a major milestone in the global expansion of our pet nutrition and care segment, providing pet parents with the tools to enhance their pets’ holistic health through efficacious supplements trusted by veterinarians worldwide,” said Akash Bedi, current rotating group chief executive officer and chief executive officer of North America, Europe, Middle East and India at H&H Group. “Zesty Paws is excited to join the booming European pet nutrition market, estimated to be worth $441 million within the next 10 years, and contribute to the growing focus on pet health and wellness and science backed products across the continent.”
