SUN CITY WEST, ARIZ. — The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) announced the addition of Kelli Younker to take on the role of compliance specialist. In her new position, she will be charged with new member onboarding, label training, website reviews, National Adverse Event Reporting System (NAERA) monitoring and day-to-day member support.

“Kelli’s first full week on the job took place at the 2024 NASC Annual Conference, where she rolled up her sleeves and pitched in as though she had been on the job for years,” said Bill Bookout, NASC president and board chair. “We are confident she will be an asset to our team, and a valuable resource to the NASC membership.”

As a native of Northern New Mexico, Younker worked in a veterinary hospital as an assistant veterinary technician during high school. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University with majors in agriculture and extension education and a minor in equine science. During college she was co-captain of the university’s NCAA Women’s Equestrian Team.

Younker worked as a veterinary technician for over a decade before taking on the role of livestock assistant at the NM Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. For the past five years, she has worked for the New Mexico Department of Agriculture as a feed specialist.

“Kelli Younker’s education, knowledge of the equestrian world, and her many years working as a veterinary technician and a state feed specialist have prepared her well for this new role,” Bookout said.

Younker has qualified numerous times to compete in the American Quarter Horse Association World Show and continues to show horses and compete at the national level. She owns multiple horses, dogs and cats, along with various farm animals.
