BURLINGTON, MASS. — Wellness Pet Company announced May 29 the appointment of Allison Giorgio to chief marketing officer. Giorgio has experience in developing innovative and “game-changing” brand and marketing strategies for consumers, according to Wellness Pet. She will leverage her 20-plus years of experience to help the pet nutrition company optimize its customer experience.
Prior to joining Wellness Pet, Giorgio worked for PUMA North America for 18 years, most recently serving as vice president of marketing through which she managed a team of more than 60 across marketing and communications. During her time at PUMA, Giorgio led the development of integrated marketing strategies and experiences for its portfolio businesses. Prior to PUMA, she held various marketing roles at Boston Ski & Sports Club, Sudbury Health and Fitness Connection, and Annie’s Homegrown.
At Wellness Pet, Giorgio joins the senior leadership team. She will help propel the company’s brand strategy and creative marketing to further define Wellness Pet’s voice and advance consumer awareness to support growth.

Giorgio has a master’s degree in business from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from Northeastern University.
