BENTONVILLE, ARK. — On May 7, full-service pet care research, consulting and product innovation firm BSM Partners announced an expansion to its global footprint, opening its first European office. The new office is located in Nantes, France, and will be overseen by pet industry veteran Émilie Mesnier.
Mesnier is a BSM Partners veteran, having been with the firm since 2018. She has been promoted from director of product innovation to vice president for European operations at BSM Partners’ new office. Mesnier is a native of France and has more than 17 years of pet food industry experience with a master’s in food science from Agrosup Dijon.

The new office is expected to further support BSM Partners’ expertise. Combined, the firm’s multidisciplinary team of Ph.D.s, consumer scientists, engineers, psychologists, board-certified veterinarians and nutritionists offer more than 550 years of experience. BSM Partners provides a wide variety of services to the pet industry, including research, product innovation, FSQAR, nutrition and veterinary services, transformation, operations support and engineering.
