RICHMOND, VA. — Paw Love, a dog treat brand owned by Central Garden & Pet, has introduced a new line of premium, natural dog chews. The new Simply Smoked line features five varieties of hickory-smoked chews intended to give dogs and their owners a meaty treating experience.

Simply Smoked chews are “smoked low and slow” in small batches, according to the company, at Pet Love’s facility in Virginia. The chews are formulated with all-natural ingredients and are free from artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

The line includes Yak Cheese, Pixie Bully Stix, Beefy Stix, Chickey Stix, and Gullet Stix. Yak Cheese chews are inspired by Himalayan cheese recipes, formulated with three ingredients and pose a long-lasting chew option. Pixie Bully Stix are another long-lasting option made from a single ingredient — grass-fed beef. The chews are “petite in size and big in flavor,” according to the company.

Beefy Stix are light, crunchy, limited-ingredient grass-fed beef chews intended to entice picky palates. Chicky Stix are formulated with free-range chicken, delivering functional support to joints, skin and coat health while also serving as a crunchy, limited-ingredient treat.

Gullet Stix are formulated with grass-fed beef, are highly digestible and rich in protein, according to Paw Love. These chews are intended for gentler chewing in puppies or seniors, and also tout dental health benefits.

The new Simply Smoked line by Paw Love will be available to consumers this spring.
