MIAMI — Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming announced its entrance into two new states, further advancing its footprint throughout the United States. Building on its strong growth year in 2023, the retail franchise has signed agreements for new locations in Oregon and Michigan.
The Oregon store will be located in Lake Oswego, just outside Portland, and the Michigan store will be located in Northville, near Ann Arbor.
“We are thrilled to kick off the new year by expanding our footprint into Oregon and Michigan,” said Ricardo Azevedo, chief executive officer of Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming. “This expansion is not just about opening new stores; it’s about extending our family and spreading love and joy to the pet communities we serve. Each new location strengthens our mission to enrich the lives of pets and their owners with our exceptional products and services.”
This latest retail expansion into Oregon and Michigan follows continuous expansions for Woof Gang. In February 2024, the franchise shared its plans to “paint Canada pink” through the establishment of several retail locations.
“To ink agreements in these markets right on the heels of opening our first international location in Canada is a true testament to the profitability and success of Woof Gang for entrepreneurs,” Azevedo added.
Throughout 2023, the company announced several new locations and entrances into 10 new states, including California, Arizona, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Washington, Massachusetts, and Minnesota, as well as Washington D.C. These expansions have earned the company recognition in Entrepreneur’s 2024 Franchise 500 Ranking list, with unit growth of 51.7% during the past three years.
With the addition of Oregon and Michigan, Woof Gang will now boast a presence in 30 states, extending to more than half of the United States.
