WILTON, CONN. — Blue Buffalo, a pet food and treat brand owned by General Mills, has introduced a special-edition dog treat product in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

BLUE Bits Chicken Recipe treats are semi-moist snacks formulated with real US-sourced chicken as the first ingredient, oatmeal, brown rice, potatoes and pea protein, as well as flaxseed and fish oil to deliver Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, and oil of rosemary to enhance palatability.

The treats are heart-shaped and packed in Valentine-themed bags. According to the company, the treats are bite-sized for training and fortified with vitamins and minerals to support health.

The Valentine’s BLUE Bits will be sold through Target, Walmart and Amazon.
