PITTSBURGH — Bully Max®, a premium dog food brand, introduced its new Small Breed Dog Food on Oct. 12. Specifically formulated for small breed dogs, the food supports healthy skin and coat and digestive health.
According to Bully Max, small breed dogs are prone to health issues due to their compact size and can be finicky about their food, making it challenging for pet parents to ensure their nutritional needs are met.
“My wife and I are the proud parents of two French Bulldogs named Max and Minnie, and knowing that Frenchies and other small breed dogs can be susceptible to health problems exacerbated by their small stature, we knew we needed to develop a diet for them that would keep their body in top condition,” said Matthew Kinneman, chief executive officer of Bully Max.
Bully Max Small Breed Dog Food is made with TruMune®, a postbiotic that can help reduce the growth of harmful bacteria in a dog’s gut, allowing healthy bacteria to flourish. According to the brand, this balanced in gut bacteria is imperative to ensure nutrient absorption and immune health in small breed dogs.
The tailored pet food is also formulated with salmon oil and taurine to support cognitive, immune and eye health and cardiac function. Small Breed Dog Food is complete and balanced with 26% protein and 14% of fat per cup, which is perfect for all small dog breeds, according to Bully Max.
“Our new small breed recipe is thoughtfully formulated with ingredients like blueberries, which are full of antioxidants, fiber and vitamin C to support healthy immune systems, and flaxseed to reduce inflammation and improve gut health,” Kinneman said. “We feel great knowing Max and Minnie are receiving a solid foundation of good nutrition that will go a long way in helping them live long and healthy lives, and we’re happy to share it with our fellow small breed pet parents for their furry family members as well.”
Bully Max Small Breed Dog Food is available via the brand’s e-commerce platform.
