BATTLEBORO, NC. — ProMach, a family of packaging and processing solution brands for a variety of industries, announced the promotion of Jason Angel to global vice president of sales and business development of its Tray Packaging brand. Angel most recently served as vice president of sales and service at Ossid, another ProMach brand.

Angel originally joined Ossid and the ProMach family of brands in 1993 and has held several service, sales, marketing and director roles since. Ossid specializes in tray packaging and horizontal form-fill-seal (FFS) equipment for the processed meat, produce, convenience food, consumer goods and medical device industries. The brand also serves as the master distributor of Italy-based Reepack, a ProMach brand that manufactures flexible packaging equipment, including vacuum chambers, thermoformers, tray sealers and flow wrappers.

“I have complete confidence in Jason’s ability to excel in this expanded role,” said Ernie Newell, senior vice president of Tray Packaging at ProMach. “I am certain that he will bring his exceptional drive, vision and expertise to lead these sales teams to even greater heights.”

In his new position, Angel will lead the sales leadership teams at both Ossid and Reepack. He will also develop and execute a strategic plan to help increase global sales.

Alongside Angel’s promotion, ProMach also shared that Ossid and Reepack will be exhibiting together at Pack Expo 2023, held from Sept. 11 to 13 in Las Vegas, at booth C-3033.
