MAHWAH, NJ. — Flavor & Fragrance Specialties is becoming a part of Lucta, a family-owned flavor, fragrance and feed additive company in Barcelona, Spain.

Lucta acquired Flavor & Fragrance Specialties in 2015 to expand into the United States. Flavor & Fragrance Specialties, now called Lucta-FFS, is integrating into a Lucta brand and will focus on flavors for coffee and specialty beverages, according to the company.

“The FFS legacy in the coffee and specialty beverage segment has paved the path for Lucta’s success in the US market,” said Jorge Castrillon, general manager, Lucta-FFS. “By combining this legacy with the talent of our US team of dedicated creation and application experts, and Lucta’s 70-plus years of flavor and fragrance global expertise, we will continue to support the growth of all existing and prospective strategic partners. Lucta’s markets include savory, bakery, wellness, fragrance and animal feed additives and will now add Flavor & Fragrance Specialties markets in flavored coffee and beverages to its portfolio.
