ORLANDO, FLA. — The American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), organizers of the annual Global Pet Expo tradeshow in Orlando, have opened applications for speakers interested in presenting during its 2024 Global Learning Series educational track.
The Global Learning Series will begin Tuesday, March 19, and conclude Friday, March 22, and will be free to all attendees. Sessions will span market research, digital strategies, profitability and growth advice, PR and marketing tips, leadership-building topics, customer experience optimization, and everything in between. The program will feature more than 40 hours of live pet industry education.
“Each year, attendees walk away from Global Pet Expo armed with new learnings and expanded knowledge,” said Celeste Powers, president of PIDA. “In 2024, we are excited to grow and evolve our Global Learning Series to meet the needs of attendees with expanded education in the areas of innovation and technology and digital, while also providing the relevant, timely and engaging content they have come to know and expect from Global Pet Expo.”
Global Pet Expo will also offer specific education tracks within its Global Learning Series. Attendees that complete all sessions in a given education track will receive an accreditation badge to recognize their professional development in the knowledge area.
Interested speakers can apply on the Global Pet Expo website. Applications will be open until Aug. 31.
Show organizers also shared the floor plan, booth applications and hotel reservations for Global Pet Expo 2024 are all open. Buyer registration will begin in September, and media registration in October.
