TRACY, CALIF. — IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients announced the appointment of Chris Schneider to sales leader of North America on July 6. According to the company, Schneider’s appointment is expected to help further IQI’s strong position in North America.

Schneider has more than 27 years of experience focusing on procurement and sales. He also has experience in marine ingredients and specialty claim ingredients.

Prior to joining IQI, Schneider served as global senior commercial director of pet at DSM for the past eight years of his career. He also previously served as senior director of sales and demand planning at Omega Protein.

“I’m thrilled to join the IQI team and continue growing the foundational business that has established our presence as a valued partner in the pet food industry,” Schneider said. “Additionally, I look forward to collaborating with our customers by introducing novel, nutritional and functional ingredient solutions.”

Schneider officially joined IQI on May 22 to lead the company’s aggressive expansion plans in the United States and Canada.
