LIVONIA, MICH. — Pet retailer Pet Supplies Plus (PSP) launched its new OptimPlus™ wet pet food line June 14. The line seeks to offer various benefits, helping pets stay hydrated while also providing high nutrition.
PSP originally launched OptimPlus in June 2022, offering just dry foods for dogs and cats formulated based on a pet’s size, life stage and specific health needs. The wet addition to the line is formulated with animal proteins and does not contain any corn, soy or wheat ingredients, according to PSP. OptimPlus wet formulas offer complete-and-balanced nutrition for puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, and senior pets. The wet line also includes targeted formulas that can support specific health needs, like hip and joint health for dogs and hairball control for cats.

According to PSP, the OptimPlus wet pet food line offers many benefits. They are easy to consume for pets with dental issues or other oral health problems; provide hydration, helping pets increase their water intake; offer versatility, as they can be served as a complete-and-balanced meal or mix-in kibble add additional flavor and texture to a pet’s existing diet; feature strong aromas and flavors, increasing palatability; and are rich in proteins, making the diets ideal for active pets.
All of the formulas in the OptimPlus line, both wet and dry, include a blend of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. The formulas are produced in the United States with ingredients sourced from around the globe.
The new OptimPlus wet pet food line is available at Pet Supplies Plus retail locations throughout the United States, both in-store and online.
