SAN FRANCISCO — Plant-based pet food company PawCo Foods shared a new partnership with animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The partnership aims to raise awareness of the benefits of plant-based nutrition for pets and its role to help reduce the suffering of animals.

Since the launch of its proprietary plant-based pet food products in August 2022, PawCo has been committed to providing pets with healthy and environmentally friendly diets.

“We are proud to join forces with PETA, an organization that has been at the forefront of the animal rights movement for decades,” said Mahsa Vazin, Ph.D., founder and chief executive officer of PawCo. “Together, we can work toward a future where our pets enjoy nutritious, cruelty-free meals, and we contribute to a greener, more compassionate world.”

As part of their collaboration, PawCo and PETA will highlight the benefits of plant-based nutrition for pet health and the environment.
