CHICAGO — Registration for Process Expo 2023 is now open. The global food and equipment technology tradeshow will be held Oct. 23 to 25 in the South Hall of the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.

Process Expo is held jointly by the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), a global food and beverage industry association, and Messe Frankfurt Inc., a global trade fair and event organizer. Show organizers teased a variety of new features planned for the 2023 tradeshow, all designed to provide convenience, accessibility, and add to the show’s robust lineup of networking and educational opportunities.

“The Process Expo audience comes to Chicago looking for the latest in processing and packaging technologies for all food and beverage industry segments, and that’s exactly what they will find,” said Brian Perkins, chairman of the FPSA board of directors and president of Provisur Technologies. “Increased automation, improved throughput, and strengthened hygienic equipment design are just of a small sample of the manufacturing solutions our customers will find at Process Expo."

Three live, fully functional production lines will appear on the show floor at Process Expo 2023, including a complete pet treat production process, one for empanadas, and another for bacon. Networking opportunities include Food for Thought, a series of educational sessions that will focus on trends and technologies in the food and beverage industry.

“Ultimately, Process Expo is about bringing industry professionals together and providing them an opportunity to engage with their peers,” said Constantin von Vieregge, president at Messe Frankfurt. “We create spaces for our attendees to interact with the new products and services available in the market, and with each other. As such, we want to make the registration process seamless and informative, so attendees have plenty of time to start planning and customizing their Process Expo experience.”

The show is expected to attract thousands of buyers, processors and industry professionals in the food and beverage and packaging industries, from C-suite executives to plant managers and product development personnel.

Attendees can book housing through several hotels near the McCormick Place Convention Center, and a free shuttle service will be provided from select hotels to the convention venue. Attendees can also benefit from the MyPlanner tool, which provides a show map, exhibitor list and event schedule for Process Expo 2023.
