MIAMI — Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming recently opened a new retail location in Atlanta, Ga., and detailed plans for seven other locations to open throughout the state later this year. According to the pet food and supplies franchise, its expansion in Georgia advances its goal to create a global community of pet stores.
Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming currently has 230 locations open or under development throughout 20 states. Within Georgia, the franchise already has a strong presence in Savannah, Augusta and Pooler, which it will leverage to expand into Watkinsville, Newnan, The Works, John’s Creek, Milton, Dunwoody, Dawsonville and Snellville throughout 2023.
The new store is located in Beltline, Atlanta.
“The Atlanta Beltline is a prime location to kick off Woof Gang’s continued expansion in Georgia this year, as its network of multi-use trails and transit connect neighborhoods to some of the most thriving companies in the city,” said Ricardo Azevedo, chief executive officer of Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming. “We’re thrilled to serve the Atlanta community with this new store and are looking forward to seeing the overall success and economic growth the brand will bring to the peach state.”
To celebrate the new location, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is hosting a grand opening from April 1 to 8, offering the local community limited specials on pet food, supplies and more, including a year’s supply of free treats, free dog illustrations, half-off nail trims, grooming specials and raffles.
