TEWKSBURY, MASS. — After launching its first line of pet supplements in January, Wellness Pet Company showcased its latest products during Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Fla., March 22 to 24. In addition to its new line of supplements, the company featured an expansion of its dry dog, topper and variety pack offerings during the show.

"We're continuing to see the importance pet parents are placing on approaching their furry friend's health holistically, looking for premium nutrition in flavors their pets love with health benefits pet parents can see for themselves," said Danielle Bernal, DVM, veterinarian at Wellness Pet Company.  "Our new line of supplements and the continued expansion of our dry dog and topper recipes, as well as new variety packs for cats and dogs, show our ongoing effort to address pets' unique health needs for a shared life of wellbeing."

Available in five formulations, the chewable dog supplements boast the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC)’s Seal of Acceptance. The supplements are formulated to target specific health concerns in dogs and are recommended by nine out of 10 veterinarians, according to Wellness Pet Company. The daily supplements are available in five varieties: Move Health Supplements, Calm Health Supplements, Shield Health Supplements, Belly Health Supplements and Shine Supplements.

Wellness continues to expand its lines of dry dog and topper recipes with its new Wellness® CORE® Digestive Health Large Breed, created for dogs over 50 lbs. The Wellness CORE Digestive Health portfolio features probiotic-coated kibble recipes containing digestive enzymes, probiotics and a blend of prebiotic fibers to support the animal’s digestive health. The recipe also promotes a strong immune system as well as supports healthy teeth, skin, bones and coat.

During Global Pet Expo, Wellness showcased its Wellness Bowl Boosters® Simply Shreds Variety Pack for dogs, which features chicken and beef and chicken and salmon flavors. Wellness Bowl Boosters® for cats were also highlighted during the show. The product is available in three protein-rich flavors which support daily hydration and are free from meat byproducts, wheat, corn and soy.

In an effort to offer pet parents, and their furry companions, more variety during feeding time, Wellness Complete Health® offers 10 variety packs. The latest Wellness Complete Health Chicken and Turkey Pate Favorites Variety Pack of 5.5-oz cans features its most popular pate recipes. The brand’s flaked and shredded varieties, Wellness CORE Signature Selects™, are now available in Seafood in Seafood Selection and Poultry Selection Variety Packs of 5.3-oz cans.

Alongside its product expansions, Wellness Pet Company continues to expand The Wellness Foundation, the company’s philanthropic initiative. The foundation receives ongoing support and funding from Pet Partners.
