BOZEMAN, MONT. — Montana Dog Food Co. officially launched, offering freeze-dried raw diets, treats and veterinarian-formulated supplements for dogs. All of the company’s products strive to provide the nutrition dogs need for their lifetime, using responsibly sourced ingredients.
“Creating this brand has been extremely special to me because it encompasses everything about life in Montana,” said Kara Haynes, chief executive officer of Montana Dog Food.
Montana Dog Food’s Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food is formulated with 85% animal proteins, antioxidants from fruits and vegetables, and pre- and probiotics, and is freeze-dried to preserve nutrients, aroma and taste. Manufactured in the United States, the diets help support energy, vitality, digestive, immune, skin and coat, and oral health, according to the company.
The company also offers Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Treats, formulated with a single animal protein, which makes them great for dogs with food sensitivities and allergies, according to Montana Dog Food. The treats boast high palatability and low caloric content.
Alongside the debut of its freeze-dried raw food and treats, Montana Dog Food also introduced its supplement line. Produced in a National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) and FDA-registered facility and formulated with third-party tested ingredients, the supplements target specific areas of pet health. The line includes four formulas: Digestive Support, Hip & Joint, Daily Multi and Skin & Coat.
“Our products are crafted with the highest quality ingredients to help fuel your best friend so they can enjoy their most fulfilling life,” Haynes said.
As well as striving to promote dog health through its nutrition products, Montana Dog Food also supports veterans. The company donates a portion of its proceeds to the Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation, which helps 9/11-combat veterans “find peace” through fly-fishing and other activities.
