AUSTIN, TEXAS — A Pup Above detailed a distribution expansion Dec. 1 to include 195 new retail stores. The company’s products will be carried at Centinela Feed, Kahoots, Pet Pros, Feeders Pet Supply, Chow Hound and 82 Pet Supplies Plus locations.
“All five neighborhood pet store chains are great additions for A Pup Above,” said Javier Marriott, co-founder and president of A Pup Above. “They each have built strong relationships with the people in their community and have a wealth of knowledge about the healthiest pet products.”
The distribution expansion follows the launch of A Pup Above’s new dry pet food Whole Food Cubies. The dry dog food is available in four recipes: Beef Pot Roast, Porky’s Porchetta, Chicka Pupatouille and Turkey Pilaf. Two of the formulas are grain-free and two are formulated for stomach sensitivities.
“With the release of our new Cubies in September, we have seen a lot of increased excitement and growth,” Marriott said. “The unique Nutridry cooking process combines the best aspects of air drying and dehydration cooking and is ideal for preserving nutrients and taste. Our Cubies have the taste of fresh, but the convenience of scoop-and-serve, allowing the product to offer the best of both worlds to dog parents and their pups.”
In 2022, A Pup Above has expanded into more than 1,300 new pet stores throughout the United States, including Hollywood Feed, Healthy Spot, Mud Bay, Pet Supplies Plus, Treats Unleashed and many others. By the year’s end, the company expects to be in 1,500 stores.
