AUSTIN, TEXAS — New purpose-driven pet company Operation Good Boy (OGB) officially launched on Nov. 11. The company was founded to celebrate veterans, as well as active-duty military, pet parents and dogs.
Founded by Tom Aiello, a military veteran, OGB offers a portfolio of premium products, including military-grade gear, supplements and treats for dogs. The company’s nutrition products are certified by veterinarians, produced in the United States and include:
- Knee Cap Bone treats
- Marrow Bone treats
- Shin Bone treats
- Beefzookas treats
- Bang Bang Beef treats
- Freedom treats
- Ruck Up Rounds treats
- Bootcamp Bites treats
- Delta Oscar Golf treats
- Sergeant Snacks treats
- Supplements Ready to Eat (SRE): Multivitamin
- SRE: Joint Supplement
- SRE: Calming Supplement
Aiello attended West Point and has served as a combat engineer in the First Cavalry Division, completing tours in Panama and the Middle East. According to Aiello, he created OGB to acknowledge those that have served in the military and to celebrate the loyalty and companionship dogs share with their owners.
“Just as veterans serve our country, dogs serve their owners with steadfast commitment and support,” Aiello said. “There’s nothing like the loyalty of a dog.”
OGB’s products are available via its e-commerce website and are sold in themed subscription boxes, designed to represent an authentic military journey, gift boxes and singular items. Each subscription box features pet supplements based on a dog’s individual health needs, called Supplements Ready to Eat (SRE); military-inspired treats, called Treats Ready To Eat (RTE); doggie bags and durable military gear for dogs and their owners.
As well as supporting active-duty military and veterans, OGB also strives to support military working dogs. According to the company, canine veterans often have unserved needs, ranging from medical care to rehabilitation. To support these dogs, OGB provides “unrestricted” funds to military working dog charities.
