LOS ANGELES — eTailPet launched new features for its multi-channel, cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) software developed specifically for the independent pet retail channel. The company’s software solution now includes SMS text messaging, membership and subscription modules.
eTailPet’s software serves as an end-to-end solution to support pet retailers with their operations, providing visibility and more control over in-store and online sales, inventory, customer communication and marketing. The company’s solution offers a robust, easy-to-use POS system with automatic inventory synchronization, payment processing, ordering and vendor management, turnkey website building, sales data, loyalty program integration, online service booking and social media management.
The new modules can be added onto eTailPet’s POS platform and are easy to implement, allowing retailers to expand their services, further revenue growth and increase customer engagement, according to eTailPet.
The text messaging add-on allows retailers to create automated messaging and communicate with customers in real time. The add-on can be used to send appointment reminders and confirmations for pet services, promote new products, shipping updates and more.
The membership and subscription add-on can be used to launch members-only clubs, from which retailers can provide customers with discounted products and services, as well as monthly subscriptions. The feature can also help retailers manage subscription renewals, pricing, products and discounts.
