SOMERSET, NJ. — Gericke USA, launched its new line of continuous mixers on Oct. 6. The Gericke Continuous Mixer (GCM) line offer high capacity and throughput rates.

The GCM line automatically mixes multiple powders, flakes, granulates, liquids, as well as viscous ingredients, in a single operation. As an alternative to batch mixing, the GCM line boasts high speed capabilities, processing up to 150,000 liters per hour and 100 tons per hour of dry materials.

The mixers use gravimetric feeders, which continuously weigh each ingredient or material added to the mixer, and axial and radial mixing to create a homogenous mixture while also advancing it downstream. The GCM line can handle food and nutrition ingredients, chemicals, plastics and pharmaceuticals.

Gericke’s continuous mixers are available in optional FDA-compliant designs to ensure food safety, ATEX-certified explosion-proof designs for more hazardous environments, and customized configurations to meet a variety of specific requirements.
