AUSTIN, TEXAS — On Sept. 27, Pet Honesty announced the appointment of Steve Chopp to chief financial officer.

Chopp has extensive experience in leadership at high-growth health and nutrition companies, as well as experience in finance, supply chain and technology functions.

“Steve is an accomplished leader with broad experience developing and executing high-impact strategies,” said Richard Greenberg, chief executive officer of Pet Honesty. “He will be an invaluable asset as we continue our mission to elevate pet vitality to deliver more joyful moments for pet parents.”

Prior to his new role at Pet Honesty, Chopp served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer for apple cider brand Bragg Live Food Products and executive vice president and chief financial officer at Pharmavite, manufacturer of Nature Made vitamins and supplements. He has also held senior roles at L.E.K. Consulting and Stern Stewart & Co.

Chopp’s appointment follows Pet Honesty’s first foray into brick-and-mortar retail through an exclusive partnership with Petco.
