WILTON, CONN. — Blue Buffalo recently launched two limited-edition Halloween-themed dog treats: Boo Bits and Boo Bars. The themed treats are available in semi-moist and oven-baked formats.

Boo Bits are semi-moist, chicken-flavored treats. Formulated with chicken, oatmeal and brown rice, the treats come in “spooky” shapes, including bats, ghosts and pumpkins. Boo Bits are formulated without meat or bone meal, as well as BHA or wheat. The treats are designed to help with dog training.

Boo Bars are oven-baked biscuit treats. Formulated with pumpkin, cinnamon and whole grains, the pumpkin and cinnamon-flavored treats contain a “crunch that would scare a ghost,” according to Blue Buffalo.
