THIRSK, ENGLAND — Harringtons, a pet food brand by Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN), expanded its Advanced Science Range of products with new supplements. The dog supplements offer joint and mobility benefits and are available in two formats, offering four SKUs total.

According to IPN, the dog supplements market is estimated to be worth about £120 million ($145.5 million USD) annually and is expanding more than 50% throughout retail and online sales channels. With this data in mind, IPN and Harringtons is striving to serve as a leader in the pet supplement category.

Harringtons’ Advanced Science Diet supplements are available in chews and tablets as well as two age ranges:

  • Shield Joint Support Chews for Adult Dogs, offering 150 chews
  • Shield Joint Support Tablets for Adult Dogs, offering 300 tablets
  • Shield Senior Hip & Joint Care Chews, offering 150 chews
  • Shield Senior Hip & Joint Care Tablets, offering 300 tablets

The supplements are endorsed by Peter Wright, a veterinarian in Yorkshire, England.

“Our dogs deserve a life filled with joy and comfort, where they can walk, run, jump and play to their hearts’ content,” Wright said. “I’ve partnered with Harringtons on its Advanced Science Diet supplements to make sure we help give provide our dogs with just that.”

Harringtons’ supplements are formulated with natural ingredients and fresh meat and fish. The supplements also contain green lipped mussel, which provides high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids to support skin and coat health and mobility. The tablets and chews are formulated with a bespoke blend of vitamins C and E to maintain healthy joints, manganese and glucosamine to support collagen formation, and a boost of Hyaluronic Acid to support the development of synovial fluid that lubricates and cushions joints.

The Advanced Science Diet supplements are available from £29.95 ($36.30 USD) to £59.95 ($72.66 USD).
