MONROE, WASH. — Wet Noses Natural Dog Food Company expanded its distribution of its Doggy Delirious® brand via partnerships with Harris Teeter, Stop & Shop and Savemart/Lucky’s on June 29. Through the distribution partnerships, Doggy Delirious products will soon be available at grocery stores throughout the United States, as well as at Hy-Vee, Hannaford and Rosaures stores later this year.
According to Wet Noses, data from the American Pet Products Association (APPA) has shown an opportunity for pet companies to open distribution up to include major grocery stores.
“More and more grocery shoppers want the same product attributes in the pet food aisle that they seek in the human food aisle, like certified non-GMO, plant-based and sustainable,” said Johnni Rodgers, chief executive officer for Wet Noses. “Doggy Delirious treats are 100% human-grade, certified non-GMO, free from preservatives, animal by-products and fillers, and made with natural, simple ingredients in the United States.”
Doggy Delirious’ treats are available in a variety of recipes, like BBQ Maple Bacon, Smokey Turkey and Apple, Peanut Butter-licious, Perfectly Pumpkin and Harvest Sweet Potato, all of which will be carried at the grocery stores. The brand also offers its Peanut Butter-licious recipe in a grain-free variety.
In February 2022, Wet Noses rebranded Doggy Delirious to better highlight its human-grade formulas.
