PETLUMA, CALIF. — Organic bone broth company, Osso Good Life LLC, made its first foray into the pet food market with the launch of its bone broths for dogs and cats on June 16. The launch follows Osso Good’s successful funding round, which was led by capital investment firm Cypress Ascendant.

According to Osso Good, the new Organic Bone Broths for Dogs and Cats serve the increasing number of pet parents looking to support their pets’ gut, digestive and immune health. The company is known for its human bone broths made with simple, organic ingredients.

“We believe that better-for-you is no longer just for humans, and that our four-legged friends deserve the best products made with their wellbeing in mind,” said Matt Fuller, chief executive officer of Osso Good and chief strategy officer of Cypress Ascendant. “We were eager to expand our lineup and bring a product our consumers’ extended family can enjoy, too.”

Made in small batches in the United States, the bone broths can be served as a topper or treat and are available in two varieties: Organic Chicken and Organic Beef. The new bone broths are formulated with organic chicken, grass-fed and grass-finished beef, organic carrots, apple cider vinegar, celery and bok choy, and are gluten- and grain-free.

The bone broths come in BPA-free 12-oz pouches and are available at Whole Foods and online via Osso Good’s e-commerce platform. The new bone broths will be available via Amazon in July with additional retail expansions to follow.

The new products are Osso Good’s first launch in partnership with Cypress Ascendant, which has owned a majority stake in the company since 2021.
