EASTON, PA. — Phillips Pet Food & Supplies announced earlier this month it has established an exclusive partnership with Petz, the developer of a consumer app connecting pet owners with digital retail offers and incentives.
Petz’ fraud-proof platform is built specifically for the pet industry. The company’s app allows brands to upload their retail offers, reward programs and frequent buyer programs to be redeemed by pet owners through participating retailers, in-store and online. Brands can also publish educational materials and engaging consumer contests through Petz’ integrated social media platform.
“The pet industry has needed a simple, quick, and fraud proof solution that delivers coupons and offers directly to pet parents,” said Jessica Farina-Morris, vice president of marketing and merchandising for Phillips Pet Food & Supplies. “Phillips is eager to share Petz with our manufacturers and retailers, and we are confident they will be as impressed as we are with all it has to offer.”
Petz launched its first platform, Petz Mobile, in 2013. The marketing and technology company was acquired by Cook Holdings I, LLC, in 2019. Cook Holdings has provided key financial and infrastructure support to redevelop Petz into a “cutting-edge consumer-based marketing solution” exclusively for the pet industry.
Phillips Pet Food & Supplies will work with its manufacturer partners to enroll them in the Petz platform within the coming weeks. The platform will be fully launched to Phillips’ retail partners across the United States soon after.
