GENT, BELGIUM — On April 1, United Petfood, an international pet food manufacturer, acquired Neodis Group’s manufacturing facility in Mornac, France. The acquired facility, named “la Braconne,” expands United Petfood’s capabilities as a full-service private label manufacturer.

Since 1976, Neodis Group’s facility has produced dry food for both dogs and cats. "La Braconne" employs about 50 people and boasts a high-quality production site. According to United Petfood, the facility will provide its customers with access to a wider range of dry product manufacturing capabilities.

“The acquisition of this pet food factory based in Mornac, near Angoulême, offers us new opportunities for growth and synergy in a fast-moving market,” stated United Petfood’s board of directors.

United Petfood’s acquisition of "la Braconne" follows its acquisition of Teeling Petfood in October 2021, furthering the company’s goal toward global expansion. With the addition of "la Braconne," United Petfood currently operates 20 facilities spanning eight European countries, providing dry and wet pet food and treat co-manufacturing.
