CHICAGO — Waggin Water launched its functional and flavorless waters for dogs in January 2022 after receiving $500,000 in investments and partnering with distributor Phillips Pet Food & Supplies. The company’s current products include Original, CBD Water and Dental Water, with plans for Probiotic Water, Hip & Joint Water, Vitamin Water, Electrolyte Water and more.

Drew Whited, founder and chief executive officer of Waggin Water, spent the past 10 years developing beverages for humans and made his foray into the pet industry with Waggin Water to provide dogs with additional benefits through their daily water intake.

"Currently dogs are getting their essential needs such as dental health, hip and joint health, probiotics/prebiotics, vitamins, CBD, and beyond through dog food, chews and treats," Whited said. "Dogs drink water more times a day than anything else they consume, which provides many opportunities to give them additional benefits through this natural delivery system."

The ready-to-drink waters are available in 12-oz resealable bowls, 6-count packages, half-gallons and three-liter boxes.

Waggin Water recently raised $500,000 in seed-round investments led by VisioCap Co-Founders Steve Marton and David Cunningham. It also announced a partnership with Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, which will distribute the dog waters throughout the United States.
