PITTSBURGH — Tailored Pet launched a new line of meat treats for dogs on Oct. 26, including formulas designed for puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs.

The treats are natural, grain-free, heart-shaped soft chews each formulated with real chicken or beef as the No. 1 ingredient.

The puppy formula incudes DHA to support cognitive development and Omega 6 fatty acids for skin and coat health. The adult formula also includes Omega 6 fatty acids for skin and coat, as well as glucosamine and chondroitin for mobility. The senior formula combines the best of both, with glucosamine, chondroitin and DHA.

The puppy treats are also marketed as good training treats.

"Not only will pups find our mouth-watering real-meat treats delicious, but they're also healthy, made with wholesome ingredients chosen specifically by pet nutrition experts for the benefits they offer puppy, adult and senior dogs,” said Annina Silverman, chief marketing officer at Tailored Pet.

These new treats can be added to subscription orders or Tailored Pet’s personalized dog food products.

To celebrate Halloween and the launch of these new treats, Tailored Pet is running a promotion on its website in which pet owners who sign up for a personalized dog food subscription can either use the code “TRICK” for a 70% discount on the first order, or the code “TREAT” to receive a free bag of the new pet treats. Each new subscription order will also come with a black and orange rope ball toy as a free gift.
