NELSON, NEW ZEALAND — The New Zealand King Salmon Company, manufacturer of Omega Plus salmon-based pet treats, has tapped Michael Fabbro, current vice president of the company, to lead its operations in North America.
Omega Plus announced its stateside debut in July.
Fabbro has managed The New Zealand King Salmon Company’s overall North American sales and business development initiatives since 2010. After finding success with the launches of Ōra King salmon and Regal smoked salmon brands in 2012 and 2018, respectively, Fabbro will now be tasked with driving growth for the company’s latest pet-focused channel.
“Michael has been a valuable member of our team for over ten years and has a proven track record of developing strategic long-term business plans,” said Grant Rosewarne, chief executive officer of The New Zealand King Salmon Co. “We’re confident that he will play a fundamental role in the success of the Omega Plus pet brand as we expand into the US market.”
