TILBURG, THE NETHERLANDS — Lan Handling Technologies is hosting an in-person event to demonstrate its pet food production solutions in Tilburg on Nov. 3 and 4. The event, Land Handling Expert Days, is open to all interested pet food manufacturing companies and will be held at the company’s production hall in The Netherlands.

The two-day event will cover the gamut of Lan Handling Technologies’ solutions for pet food producers, including retort room automation capabilities from filling to packing. Topics include the latest automated retort handling solutions, how consumer perception is driving innovation in packaging and filling systems, workshops on efficient retort loading and unloading, and upcoming innovations such as simulation, adaptive manufacturing and the use of a decentralized drives platform.

The production hall will feature Lan Handling’s fully automated pouch handling system. Day one workshop topics include pouch sustainability, steam tunnel processing, pouch filling trends, and the latest weighing and inspection innovations. Day two of the event will feature Q&A sessions and demos.
