WINNIPEG, MANITOBA — Avena Food Limited has partnered with TheoryMesh Corp, a supply chain transparency solutions provider, to enhance its food safety and traceability through TheoryMesh’s digital capabilities.

Avena Foods is a specialty miller of gluten-free pulse and oat ingredients, based in Western Canada. The company offers bean, chickpea, lentil, pea and oat ingredients to the pet food, food and beverage, and nutraceutical markets.

“We are excited to work with TheoryMesh to implement their solutions which will streamline our data handling and optimize our food safety processes,” said Sneha Nathani, vice president of food safety and quality assurance at Avena Foods. “Using the TheoryMesh solution will reduce time in every step of our processes and will significantly improve our systems.”

The company will use TheoryMesh’s software solutions to offer its customers faster access to traceability and quality data. The software will be integrated with Avena’s information technology systems to instantaneously capture, enter and secure storage of ingredient data.
