RICHMOND, LONDON — Tails.com, a UK-based online premium pet nutrition brand owned by Nestlé Purina PetCare, announced Aug. 17 it has introduced a new line of premium wet dog foods, including hypoallergenic and puppy-specific diets.

The company has introduced the new hypoallergenic line to cater to dog owners unable to feed its classic wet food range due to food sensitivities or allergies. Tails.com reported 75% of its consumers are now seeking hypoallergenic dog food formulas.

“Each element of our individually tailored feeding plan has a clear and specific role to play in the lives of our customers and their pets; the premium wet food range is a great addition to our individually tailored dry food, with high meat content and added health benefits for dogs,” said Lucy McCarthy-Christofides, head of proposition and range at Tails.com. “We had been very aware of an important minority of customers who hadn’t been able to take up our classic wet food range to date due to allergies. These new premium recipes rectify that, and I’m thrilled to be able to deliver hypoallergenic and puppy-ready options to cater to all of our customers’ needs directly to their door.”

The line also includes grain-free recipes and formulations with natural prebiotics and Omega 3 fatty acids to support gut health, mobility, and skin and coat health.

The new Premium Wet Food line includes four formulas, launching on Tails.com this month. Succulent Poultry Pie with Potatoes & Green Beans is a hypoallergenic diet featuring 60% chicken and turkey proteins. The diet is appropriate for puppies six weeks or older. Another hypoallergenic option is Simply Irresistible Chicken with Rosemary, which is also grain-free and includes 60% chicken proteins. The rosemary in the formula delivers antioxidants. This diet is also designed for puppies six weeks or older.

Additionally, the company’s Tender Beef & Poultry with Carrots & Peas recipe is grain-free, featuring 60% beef and poultry proteins, as well as added glucosamine and chondroitin to support mobility. This diet is intended for adult dogs only.

Lastly, the Simply Delicious Beef with Parsley recipe is grain-free, made with 60% beef proteins, and designed for puppies six weeks or older.
