SAUKVILLE, WIS. — Three ProMach family brands will demonstrate a fully integrated, fully operational packaging line at Pack Expo 2021, scheduled from Sept. 27 to 29 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The line will be exhibited at booths C-2829 and C-2825.
The demonstration will highlight ProMach brands’ ability to collaborate and offer full processing solutions, specifically for candy mints. The mints will first be weighed on a Yamato scale, then packages of five to six mints will be transferred to pillow bags on a vertical form-fill-seal machine by Matrix Morpheus. The Matrix Morpheus packaging machine is equipped with ID Technologies’ Compact 53C Thermal Transfer printer, which will code the packages.
Next, a conveyor will transfer the packages to a Matrix EC-E Checkweigher before they are moved to a Quest Quik Pick QP200 robotic case packer by way of a Wexxar Bel WF 20 Fully Automatic Case Former. The QP200 uses two Fanuc Delta-style robots to pick packages up from the conveyor and top-load them into cases.
From there, the mint packages will be transferred to a Wexxar Bel 250 Fully Automatic Case Sealer, then to a Quest Box Bot robotic palletizing system to complete their journey.
Across all these processes, ProMach advertises a small operational footprint, high-level integration and collaboration.
The ProMach family of brands includes 42 packaging and automation companies ranging from systems and integration to decorative labeling to handling and sterilization, among several other specialties.
