HATFIELD, PA. — Annamaet Petfoods Inc. on July 28 announced a new name for its Encore dog food: Annamaet Medium & Large Breed Formula. The formula will remain the same, but the company has changed the name of the diet to better align with the company’s grain-inclusive dog food portfolio.

The formula is intended for active medium and large dogs. It incorporates low-ash chicken, fish and brown rice. The grain-inclusive diet delivers Omega 3 fatty acids, DHS, chelated minerals, prebiotics and probiotics, and supplemental L-Carnitine to support different areas of health and wellness.

“Our dogs’ diets should be able to meet their nutritional demands as they grow,” said Robert Downey, founder and president of Annamaet Petfoods. “Medium and Large Breed was designed to meet the needs of larger breeds from puppyhood through adult dogs, supporting their digestive and gut health, coat and skin, and of course, higher protein demands.”

Annamaet Medium & Large Breed Formula is produced in the United States and meets all nutritional level guidelines established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials’ (AAFCO) Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including that of adult dogs weighing 70 lbs or more.
