IRVING, TEXAS — In May, Darling Ingredients appointed Enderson Guimaraes to its board of directors as an independent director and the newest member of its audit committee. The addition of Guimaraes has expanded the company’s number of board directors to 10 people.

Guimaraes has held various leadership positions with companies in the beverage, semi-durables and education industries, according to Darling Ingredients.

Enderson Guimaraes has joined Darling Ingredients' board of directors and audit committee.

His recent roles include president and chief operating officer of Laureate Education Inc., president of PepsiCo Global Operations, chief executive officer of PepsiCo Europe and Sub-Saraha Africa, and chief executive officer of Electrolux EMEA.

He also served on the executive committees at Electrolux, PepsiCo and Laureate.

Guimaraes currently serves on the boards of AutoZone, Inc. and Refresco Group B.V.
