SEATTLE — Austin and Kat has partnered with Southeast Pet to expand distribution of its premium hemp products for pets. Beginning July 1, Southeast Pet’s distribution centers in Austell, Ga. and Lakeland, Fla. will carry the brand’s products to independent pet retailers in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

"We’re thrilled to expand our footprint with Southeast Pet," said Kat Donatello, founder and chief executive officer of Austin and Kat. "Launching in the southeast region will allow us to meet the needs of an existing and new customer base with the help of so many brilliant and knowledgeable retailers.”

Donatello also shared “the timing is perfect” for Austin and Kat, following the launch of a new line of functional soft chews for dogs, Harper’s Immunity+.

“In addition to producing high quality CBD products, Austin and Kat is highly committed to the success of the independent pet specialty channel,” said Pete Cooper, vice president of sales and marketing at Southeast Pet. “This makes them an ideal partner for Southeast Pet and we’re excited to be their exclusive distributor in the Southeast!”

Austin and Kat’s products are developed in-house and hand-crafted in small batches. The company sources hemp CBD ingredients from Treehouse Bio, a company named on the National Animal Supplement Council’s preferred supplier list. The company conducts third-party testing to ensure quality, purity and consistency.

Southeast Pet has been serving the pet specialty channel in the southern United States since 1975. Both Southeast Pet and Austin and Kat are family-run, founder-led companies owned in part by their employees.
