MCLEAN, VA. – The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) has made the decision to cancel its 2021 Annual Conference scheduled for April 27 to 29 at the Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, Calif. The Executive Committee of the FPSA Board chose to cancel the event after considering the ongoing safety risks of the COVID-19 pandemic.
FPSA staff is working on adapting the program to include some online programming. Many of the breakout sessions will be moved online. Those webinars will be available for free.
The FPSA Auction, which is used to raise money for charitable causes and scholarships, will now be held virtually on the GiveSmart app. Details for the new online auction are still being finalized. The annual auction supports FPSA’s Giving Back causes including the FPSA Pet Food Council’s support of 1 Soldier 1 Dog Team and the American Humane PUPS4PATRIOTS program.
The Annual FPSA Business Meeting will also be held online, giving FPSA members a chance to receive an update on association business. More details are expected in the coming months.
FPSA, in conjunction with Messe Frankfurt Inc., is set to hold PROCESS EXPO Oct. 12 to 15 at McCormick Place in Chicago. This biennial food equipment and technology show serves the food, beverage and pet food processing and packaging industries.
The 2022 FPSA Annual Conference is scheduled for March 22-24, 2022, at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio.
