OMAHA, NEB. — Tender & True has officially launched its first freeze-dried raw dog food formula, made with ethically sourced proteins, fruits and vegetables.

The brand’s Farmers Market Recipe Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food is formulated with 100% USDA Certified Organic fruits and vegetables, as well as humanely raised chicken and turkey proteins, which is also USDA Certified Organic and certified by the Global Animal Partnership.

The complete-and-balanced diet does not include corn, soy, wheat or gluten. Tender & True sources its fruits and vegetables from suppliers that do not use synthetic fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Additionally, the chicken and turkey proteins used in this new formula are given more free space, access to outdoors, and are not fed antibiotics or growth hormones.

Tender & True also launched an organic salmon jerky-style dog treat earlier this year, formulated with USDA Certified Organic salmon that is smoked and dehydrated. Salmon is the first ingredient in these jerky treats.

Additionally, the company rolled out a treat shipper for its independent pet retail partners to display the brand’s treat products. Tender & True sells these shippers to retailers unfilled, meaning retailers can choose what variety of the brand’s premium jerky treats to offer in their stores.
