MONROE, WASH. — Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, a human-grade pet food and treat company founded in 1998, on Oct. 13 announced Johnni Rodgers as its incoming chief executive officer.
The announcement was made by Wet Noses Founder Jasmine “Jazz” Galligan, who has seen the company through more than two decades of growth and development.
“Anyone who knows me knows that Wet Noses® is my passion,” Galligan said. “It has been my life’s work over the past 22 years. I love the dogs we feed, the human customers we serve, and our unwavering commitment to the belief that dogs are our family and we shouldn’t feed them anything that we wouldn’t eat ourselves. I’m thrilled to appoint Johnni Rodgers as our new CEO as we continue our mission and move Wet Noses into its next phase of growth.”
Rodgers joins the company as a CPG marketing veteran who has accelerated, innovated and contributed to the successes of many well-known brands, including Planters, Kashi, Cracker Barrel, Kraft Heinz and The Laughing Cow.
Rodgers brings experience in brand strategy, breakthrough innovation and sales in the grocery, mass and specialty retail channels. She is expected to drive up the top and bottom line for Wet Noses, as she has successfully accomplished in other stations throughout her career.
“I’m thrilled to continue Jazz’s legacy and thrust Wet Noses into its next phase of growth,” Rodgers said. “I look forward to bringing the best of my combined experiences to grow this highly relevant company into a leading producer of pet treats. Our retailers can expect rapid innovation, our consumers can expect more brand interaction than ever before, and our dogs (who we do all this for) can expect us to continue our uncompromising commitment to producing the highest quality dog food and treats on the planet!”
Rodgers was also listed among Chicago Scholar’s “35 Under 35” list of professionals for 2020. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago.
