HIGHLAND, ILL. — Trouw Nutrition USA on Sept. 8 appointed Terri Boeser as general manager of its companion animal division. Boeser has been with Trouw since 2007 in various roles.
Most recently, Boeser served as strategic project director. She first joined the company as a business accountant, then became a controller, then led the finance department as interim general manager for nine months before becoming director of operations for 17 months.
She also played a part in the launch of the company’s global Women in Leadership initiative and serves on the global Species Council.
“I am very excited and honored to lead the Trouw Nutrition Companion Animal Division with the CA Leadership Team,” Boeser said. “I have been part of Trouw Nutrition for many years and watched us build our brand and quality platform. Quality is represented in every aspect of our business – from our people to our processes. We live and breathe it every day. The team continually strives to raise the bar, bringing the most advanced innovations to our customers. I am thrilled to lead an organization with such a great group of people with so much passion for what they do. When you work at Trouw, you feel the passion for pets and the industry. I am excited to build upon what we have created and develop new opportunities for our future growth.”
Boeser succeeds Mike Hooper, previous general manager of Trouw’s companion animal division, who will help train Boeser in her new role until his retirement in January 2023. Hooper will stay on at Trouw as vice president of marketing for its companion animal division, a position which he has previously held.
Boeser earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration, as well as a master’s degree in accounting, from Saint Louis University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
