DENVER — A small CBD pet treat business in Colorado has launched a video campaign highlighting the brand’s transparency in product development, manufacturing and distribution.

Suzie’s CBD Treats, based in Denver and established in 2016, manufactures organic, full-spectrum CBD-infused treats for dogs, cats and horses. The company sources hemp from its vertically owned, co-operative farm located in Fort Collins.

The video stars co-founder and owner Caleb Gilmore.

“We used to cut our hearts by hand,” Gilmore says in the campaign video, referring to the company’s heart-shaped treats, “but after the first couple million, we decided to upgrade.”

Gilmore said the company sends every batch to a third-party laboratory to test for purity and potency.

The video also highlights the company’s philanthropy. Gilmore shared Suzie’s CBD Treats sends its pet treats to animal shelters across the United States every month.
