DAYTON, OHIO — MiracleCorp Products, a consumer brands company in the companion animal industry, announced Aug. 5 the launch of a new dog treat product under its Stewart Pro-Treats brand.
The product, Bacon Pop-Its Freeze-Dried Dog Treats, are available in three formulations, each featuring USDA-certified bacon as the first ingredient.
“Retailers and pet-parents alike will enjoy the peace of mind knowing dogs can enjoy high-quality Stewart treats with real USDA bacon and in a convenient size for training rewards, on the go, or simply to celebrate the everyday moments together,” said Alison Cremeans, marketing director for MiracleCorp.
MiracleCorp has filed a patent application for the treats, which is currently still pending.
The Bacon Pop-It treat line includes a bacon and cheese formula; bacon, cheese and egg; and bacon cheeseburger with beef. They are formulated with uncured pork bacon, pork loin and reduced fat cheddar. The treats do not contain artificial ingredients, corn, wheat, soy or added nitrates.
Other ingredients include oat flour, sweet potato, whole eggs, beef and tomatoes. All formulas are sourced and manufactured in the United States.
The company’s Stewart Pro-Treats Bacon Pop-Its are freeze-dried at MiracleCorp’s manufacturing facility in Dayton and remain shelf stable for 18 months.
