WALLA WALLA, WASH. — Key Technology, a Duravant brand offering food processing solutions to the pet food and treat industry, is now offering virtual demonstrations, application testing and trainings through its Innovation and Solutions Centers in Washington and Hasselt, Belgium.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has made virtual demos more important now than ever,” said Bob Rhodes, director of global applications engineering at Key Technology. “In addition to protecting workers, these interactive sessions are cost effective, productive and scale well.
“Some processors may not have the funds or time to fly several team members to our facility – with virtual demos, up to 15 different participants across multiple facilities can join the demonstration, test or training,” Rhodes continued. “Compared to in-person visits, the live video interface allows food processors to watch multiple views of a system simultaneously and develop a more holistic understanding of the solution.”
Key Technology’s remote training sessions will be held through a live video interface and available to all processors around the world. The interface allows for screen sharing and image sharing to provide multiple views of a single system. The sessions will also be recorded for participants to refer to later.
Demonstrations will be available for Key Technology’s VERYX and Optyx solutions, vibratory conveyors including Iso-Flo and Impulse, and material handling systems such as its Sliver Sizer Remover (SSR). Sorters and auxiliary sorting equipment can also be demonstrated virtually.
