CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ — MYOS RENS Technology, Inc., whose portfolio includes a muscle-building performance supplement for dogs, has inked two distribution deals this month to expand the availability of its MYOS Canine Muscle Formula products.

The distribution deals were struck on March 10 with KVP International, a supplier to the veterinary rehabilitation market, and on March 12 with United Natural Foods Inc. (UNFI), a nationwide distributor of health- and sustainability-focused food products.

KVP will distribute, consult and co-market MYOS’s performance products, including the two variations of its Canine Muscle Formula – regular strength and veterinary strength.

"We will also work with KVP to build our direct-to-consumer business working with their team and jointly marketing our products with theirs. KVP's years of experience in these markets as well as their incredible customer relationships will help us to rapidly grow our business,” said Joseph Mannello, chief executive officer of MYOS RENS.

UNFI will offer its widespread warehousing and distribution network in the US, as well as its merchandising, marketing and e-commerce solutions for retailers.

MYOS RENS formulates its muscle-building supplements for dogs and humans using a proprietary bioactive formula, Fortetropin, derived from fertilized egg yolk. The dog supplements have been clinically proven, according to the company, to increase muscle mass, protect against atrophy of disuse, and improve injury recovery.
