LENEXA, KAN. — Meowijuana, a cat treat and accessory company, launched three new catnip-infused treats at Global Pet Expo 2020 in Orlando, Fla.

The cat treats are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, featuring US-sourced catnip and valerian root flavor. They are free from soy and animal by-products, according to the company.

The brand also launched three new cat toys during the annual trade show.

The idea behind all Meowijuana’s products is to “promote a healthy pet lifestyle and to appeal to both cats and their people” by having fun and being playful in the development and naming of its products, said Geralynn Cada-Ragan, Meowijuana partner and “chief meowing officer” of the brand.

Meowijuana products do not contain cannabidiol (CBD), hemp or THC. Founded in 2016, the brand is a subsidiary of Smarter Paw, which is headquartered in Lenexa.
